Philip.legg's review of this book is as follows:

Content: The quality of writing in this Science Fiction book is excellent, and it is accessible to all except young children. The book contains infrequent use of mild bad language, contains romance, contains scenes that depict violence without use of gore and a world in which good and evil can be partially confused. The recommended age rating for this book is 8+.

Notes: The sequel to 'Predator's Gold' and the prequel to 'A Darkling Plain'. When the Lost Boys of Grimsby return to Anchorage in search of a seemingly worthless artifact, Wren Natsworthy, daughter of Tom and Hester, sees her chance for an exciting life of adventure. Meanwhile, the war between the Traction cities and the Green Storm Anti-Tractionists, led by the Stalker Fang, rages on to a new intensity.
